Marketing Funnels

  • Funnels marketing is a way of understanding and engaging with your customers along their journey from becoming aware of your product or service to purchasing it. It is a visual representation of the steps a customer takes and the actions you need to take to influence them at each stage.  TOFU is the awareness stage, where you attract prospects who have a problem or need that your product or service can solve. You can use content marketing, social media, SEO, PPC, and other strategies to generate traffic and interest in your brand.

    ·         MOFU is the consideration stage, where you engage prospects who are comparing different solutions and evaluating your value proposition. You can use email marketing, lead magnets, webinars, case studies, testimonials, and other strategies to build trust and credibility with your prospects.
    ·         BOFU is the conversion stage, where you persuade prospects who are ready to make a purchase decision. You can use landing pages, sales calls, discounts, free trials, guarantees, and other strategies to overcome objections and close the sale.
  • It is important to understand how the marketing funnel can be flipped to have more leads and to learn about nonlinear approaches to the marketing funnel. 
  • To better understand today's marketing funnel, let's establish a basic framework for it.
  • From a marketing and sales position, the marketing funnel is a visualization for knowing the process of turning leads into buying customers. 
  • The goal is to capture as many leads as possible and convert those leads into sales. Prospective customers must be cultivated during the purchasing process. 
  • Simply put, they must be nurtured. And they must be nurtured during each stage of the marketing funnel process. 
  • Marketing should take advantage not only at every step but also when creating conversion goals or achieving specific objectives like converting existing customer accounts before offering products/services on behalf their account holders. 
  • This means targeting consumers with "hot" keywords from your site list through various promotion channels such Twitter ads, search engine traffic, eCommerce promotions, etc...
