HEALTHCARE INFORMATION

 HEALTH CARE SYSTEM:

It is an Important aspect to human is health always.

Health care means of Human Body Health And Mental Health Also.

PURPOSE OF HEALTH CARE:

It is caused by human interaction about their health and maintenance of good health by themselves

IT IS USED TO IMPROVE THE HEALTH STATUS OF HUMAN:

It is the responsibility of every human to maintain their good health

Health Care Systems:

These are used to Deliver the Health care Services by using bio medical equipments

HERE BIO-MEDICAL EQUIPMENT IS MAKE IMPORTANT ROLE FOR HUMAN HEALTH AND ITS SERVICES AT HOSPITALS AND HEALTH CARE CENTERS ALSO.

Medical Equipment:

Medical equipment  is designed to aid in the diagnosis, monitoring or treatment of medical conditions.

The Heath Care team members use medical equipments for diagnosis, treatment and monitor medical conditions.

The medical equipments are purchased and maintained by experts called Bio Medical Engineers.

BIO MEDICAL ENGINEERS:

The biomedical engineers perform such tasks as the evaluation, inspection, repair, maintenance, and installation of diverse instrumentation of medical equipments

Surgical equipments, ultrasound devices, chemical analyzers, defibrillators, centrifuges,

x-ray instrumentation in a health care setting, etc.

BASIC MEDICAL EQUIPMENTS:

There are several types of basic durable medical equipment in a hospital such as the following:

Manual wheelchairs or electric wheelchairs.

Hospital beds, Walkers, crutches, canes (or any similar type of mobility assistive equipment),

Traction equipment, Pressure mattresses, Insulin pumps, Breast pumps, Nebulizers, etc

Health care Equipment(medical Equipment & devices)

CLASSIFICATION OF MEDICAL EQUIPMENT OR MEDICAL DEVICES:

medical devices as : Class I, Class II, and Class III.

The classification for a device depends upon the level of risk that is associated with the device and the type of service performed

CLASSES OF EQUIPMENT:

There are 3 classes of medical devices:

Class I: - devices are low-risk devices.

Examples include bandages, handheld surgical instruments, and nonelectric wheelchairs.

Class II: - devices are intermediate-risk devices. . .

Class III:- devices are high-risk devices that are very important to health or sustaining life.

CLASSIFICATION:

All electrical equipment is categorized into classes according to the method of protection against electric shock that is used.

CRITERIA FOR CLASSIFICATION CLASSIFICATION :

Method of protection against electric shock.

Different areas of application and therefore different electrical safety requirements.

For mains powered electrical equipment there are usually two levels of protection used, called "basic" and "supplementary" protection. The supplementary protection is intended to come into play in the event of failure of the basic protection.

About PLASMA THERAPY

 PLASMA THERAPY

DEFINITION:

Plasma therapy uses blood donated by recovered patients to introduce antibodies in those under treatment. Presently this therapy is introduced to treatment of COVID 19 patients.

The convalescent plasma therapy aims at using antibodies from the blood of a patient recovered

(Covid-19 patient) from infectious disease to treat those critically affected by the same infectious agent.

The therapy can also used to immunize those at a high risk of contracting the infection (virus/bacteria) such as health workers, families of patients and other high-risk contacts.

CONCEPT OF PLASMA THERAPY:

This therapy's concept is simple and is based on the premise that the blood of a patient who has recovered from a specific infection (eg : Covid-19) contains antibodies with the specific ability of fighting the same organism.

The theory is that the recovered patient's antibodies, once ingested into somebody under treatment, will begin targeting and fighting the causative infectious agent in the second patient.

The convalescent plasma therapy is akin to passive immunization as, according to researchers,

it is a preventive measure and not a treatment.

The concept is simple.

The Patients who recover from an infectious disease often produce antibodies that can protect against later infections with the same microbe.

This immunity can be transferred by giving serum to those at risk of infection."

HEALTH CARE LEVELS

 DIFFERENT HEALTH CARE LEVELS:

Different levels of Health care is available to the individuals:

Introduction:  Health care is a multitude of services rendered to individual, families or communities by the agent of health services or professions for the purposes of promoting, maintaining monitoring or restoring health.

There are different types of services are included.

1. Primary Prevention

2. Secondary Prevention

3. Tertiary prevention

PRIMARY HEALTH CARE :

Also called as essential health care or health care at door step.

It is the first level of contact of individual, the family and community with national health system, where primary health care is provided.

A level of health care, it is close to the people, where most of the health problem can be dealt with and resolved.

It provided at village level and through primary health centers and their sub-centers through the agency of multi-purpose health worker, village health guide, ASHA worker and trained dais.

The measures of health promotion and prevention are taken a maximum effort at this level of health care. Peoples are made self reliant.

Besides providing primary health care the villages “health team” bridge the cultural and community gap between rural people and organized health sector.

SECONDARY CARE LEVEL:

The next higher level of care is the secondary (intermediate) health care level.

At this level more complex problem are dealt with.

Care is generally provided in district hospital and community centers which also serves as the first referral level.  Curative services are provided at this level.

All opioid drugs from poppy-derived opium to heroin work on receptors that are naturally present in the brain and elsewhere in the body. One such receptor, the mu-opioid receptor, binds to natural pain-killers in the body called endogenous endorphins and enkephalins. Drugs acting on the mu-opioid receptor can cause addiction as well as unwanted side effects like drowsiness, problems with breathing, constipation and nausea. "Normally, when you are in pain, you are releasing endogenous opioids, but they're just not strong enough or long lasting enough," says Traynor. The team had long hypothesized that substances called positive allosteric modulators could be used to enhance the body's own endorphins and enkephalins. Oxycodone binds to so-called opioid receptors in the body. There are three different types: MOP, DOP and KOP. The painkillers available to date mainly activate the MOP (also called ?-opioid receptor). However, stimulating MOP can not only be addictive, it can also have life-threatening side effects. The most serious is respiratory paralysis, which is why the most common cause of death after heroin use is respiratory arrest. "Drugs that selectively bind to the DOP receptor probably do not have these dramatic side effects," hopes Prof. Dr. Christa Müller from the Pharmaceutical Institute at the University of Bonn. The emphasis is on "selective": The opioid receptors are so similar that many drugs activate all three forms. In order to find substances that only dock to the DOP receptor, it is therefore necessary to know exactly what happens during the binding process. Spatial structure made visible down to the atomic level The current study can now answer this question. "We have activated the DOP receptor with two different molecules, purified the complex and then elucidated its structure using X-rays," explains Tobias Claff, who carried out the majority of the experiments. For this purpose, the complex of receptor and active substance is transformed into a crystalline state. The crystal lattice deflects the X-ray light in a characteristic manner. The intensity distribution of the diffracted radiation can therefore be used to deduce the spatial structure of the complex, right down to the arrangement of each individual atom.
